On August 14th I married my best friend and lover...we have been together for 10 years and out of those 10 we have been married for 6 years now.  I LOVED everything about my wedding.  We were married at a Church on Coronado Island and had our reception at the Hotel Del Coronado (figured it was appropriate since I was marrying a Coronado).  My colors were Yellow & Blue and it had a "Royal" theme to it, since my name means queen in Spanish & Coronado means crowned...hey if the Crown fits, wear it!  Sticking to that theme the tables were named after Royalty Titles & things associated with Royalty in both English & Spanish such as, "La Corona" (the crown), "The Duchess", etc.  I also had a beautiful cake topper that was a Crown and my place card holders were little tiaras.  To this day I still get complements on our wedding & how much fun our wedding was.  If I could I would do it all over again every so many years, unfortunately I can't.  So in honor of my anniversary I have decided to post some pics of my wedding day!
Disfruten Sucias!
my hubby with his grooms men

me and my brides maids (minus my 3 flower girls and jr brides maid!)

we had a little under 300 guests (I think)...everyone danced!

And we lived happily ever after...

This was only a small taste of what my big day was, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Till next week Sucias!

I've been bit...

Yes Sucias, I HAVE BEEN BIT!  I would have never thought that I would be this intrigued with the best selling, tweenie bopper, Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer, as much as I am.  It has been 2 weeks since I saw Twilight the movie for the first time EVER.  At first I didn't know what to expect I figured it was a typical teenage love story & it involved vampires, blah, blah, blah.  Up until this point the only vampire movies that I had watched were Interview with a Vampire (Starring yummy Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt, ahhhh!), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (remember that one?) & another blast from the past, The Lost Boys (an 80's classic!).  So when I sat down to watch the movie I was right!  Typical teenage love story, but almost with a Romeo & Juliet sense to it.  Because of this R&J feel to the love story, I was curious about what happens next in the sequel & the books.  So one of my co-workers brought me the first two books of the Saga...Twilight & New Moon along withe New Moon (the movie-of course I watched it as soon as I got home).  I have to be honest, these movies have horrible acting but I was looking past that in regards to the plot of the movie & the love story (yes, I am a hopeless romantic believe it or not).  I started to read Twilight & couldn't put it down!  I finished this book in 3 days & jumped into New Moon (the sequel/2nd book in the saga).  Needless to say New Moon was not as fascinating as Twilight, it took me a week to get through it.  New Moon was very slow, boring & much longer than Twilight.  Although I do have to say that the author Stephanie Meyers captured my attention again at the end of the book with a sudden marriage proposal (pretty much the cliff hanger).  While I enjoyed Twilight more, both books were more detailed than the movies were (they always are) and I was extremely happy that I watched the movies FIRST then read the books...If I had done it the other way around I know for a fact I would have been VERY disappointed with the movie.  If you haven't given these movies or books a chance, DO IT!
I have to say I feel like a teenage girl with a secret crush....on a vampire!

Till next week Sucias!

"Can I buy you a drink?"...

Sucias!  Have you ever been out with your friends, hanging out at a bar, having some drinks & a guy approaches & gives you a horrible pick up line & rather than laugh in the poor guys face you just smile & try to get rid of the guy the nicest & quickest way possible?  When I first started my blog, I had a request from a guy to do a post about "Bad Pick-up lines"  & at the time I thought that was a great idea, but one problem...this Sucia has been off the market for a really long time now & I can't even remember the last time a guy tried to pick up on me (I'm dying of laughter at this point, seriously)!  Sure there's the "Can I buy you a drink?", "You have beautiful eyes", "I love your smile", blah, blah, blah!  What I can remember is that in my "glory days" (prior to having babies & being married) guys used to come up to me & give me some of the funniest (pathetic funny) pick-up lines & at the end of the night on the way home my bestie & I used to exchanged the "best line of the night" but I can't remember exactly what they were.  So queridas, I know that there are some single Sucias out there that can contribute to this subject.  Please comment me your "funniest/worst pick-up lines" that you have or can remember that you have received.  I need a good laugh!
Till next week Sucias!
